SMITH COROT SR 48
- Product Code: code-2050
- Weight: 0.02kg
Floating, 0-60cm(max 1.0m), 48mm, 10g
SMITH COROT SR - COmpact ROundish Technician. The name COROT is an abbreviation of "small/compact, rounded technician/engineer".
Contrary to its appearance, which makes a "nice impression", it is a shallow-running lure with an emphasis on practicality.
The rounded shape deliberately reduces the roll of the hooks, which reduces the likelihood of an obstruction. The object is to improve performance without being hammered by suppressing the roll to the outside of the hook. The caudal part upwards also helps.
If you concentrate the mass, the shape will naturally approach the sphere. As with a baseball ball, accuracy and length of throw are increased without relying on the inside structure.
The maximum depth of diving of SMITH COROT SR is about 1m, but the practical depth is up to ~ 60 cm, which is the most preferred range. Straight-forward retrieve may cause very shallow drafting. Despite the high power of COROT SR to maintain a certain range, when slowly pulled with a raised rod, you can also find yourself on the surface of the water if you wish.
